Terms
and Conditions for Sales of SIM Cards |
 |
  |
This agreement
shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The
courts of England and Wales shall have the non-exclusive
jurisdiction to settle any disputes that may arise from
or in connection with this agreement.
“
We” refers to Mobell Communications Ltd. “You” refers
to the person buying the SIM card.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be a non-UK resident, and have
a valid credit card. You are initially limited to one
Mobell SIM card per credit card, however we may, at our
discretion, allow you to purchase further SIM cards once
you have established a satisfactory trading record with
us.
ACTIVATING YOUR SIM CARD: You are required to read and
understand these Terms and Conditions, and our call and
rental charges (if any) before activating your SIM card.
Our current call tariff is available at www.mobell.com/sim/tariffs,
or we will send you a copy on request.
PAYMENT FOR CALLS: Call charges will be debited from
your credit card as and when we receive the call data
from the foreign networks. Due to delays in receiving
call data from the networks, calls may be charged several
months after they were made. You will be liable to pay
for all calls made and received according to the applicable
tariff. We occasionally update our tariff with new networks
and price changes, so you are advised to check the latest
version at www.mobell.com/sim/tariffs before you travel,
or contact us to request a current copy. In the event
that we are unable to take payments – for example
if your credit card is declined or has expired – we
reserve the right to bar the phone until outstanding
funds have been settled.
STATEMENTS: Statements detailing all of the payments
taken will be produced twice a month. We will only send
statements for months in which you have made calls. Itemised
bills will be provided, detailing all call charges.
LIABILITY: You are responsible for taking care of the
SIM card. You must not transfer the ownership, sell or
rent the SIM card. We shall not be responsible for any
loss, damage, injury or inconvenience arising from any
aspect of our service. We shall not be held responsible
for problems relating to the service provided by the
GSM networks.
ACCIDENTAL LOSS OR THEFT: If the SIM card is lost or
stolen, you are liable for all call charges incurred
until you notify us, at which point we will bar the phone
from network use. To report a lost or stolen SIM card,
and to request that the phone be barred, telephone 0800
24 35 24 (from the UK), or +44 1543 426999 (from outside
the UK). If you call outside normal office hours you
will be advised to call our Emergency number, which is
07699 755489 (from the UK) or +44 7699 755489 (from outside
the UK).
INACTIVITY: There is absolutely no commitment required
on your behalf. However, if your SIM card remains inactive
for a period of 18 months, we may place a precautionary
bar on the card for your protection. This will prevent
calls from being made and received. This bar can easily
be removed, at your request, for no extra charge.
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT: We reserve the right to terminate
the contract at any point, without explanation, such
termination to be effective immediately. You may terminate
the contract at any time, in writing. You will remain
liable for all call charges incurred until the SIM has
been barred from network use. |
